How to setup a Discord Voting Webhook
To setup a discord voting webhook you will need 2 things. A discord server where you have permission to create webhooks and a Hytale server listing on Hytale-Servers.pro.
Creating a Discord Webhook
Let's start by getting creating a webhook inside your discord channel and getting it's URL.
- Click the "Edit Channel" (the cogwheel icon) option on the channel you want to create the webhook in.
- Go to the "Integrations" tab.
- Click on the blue "Create Webhook" button.
- Select your newly created webhook and press the "Copy Webhook URL" button.
You now have the webhook URL copied to your clipboard. Don't share this with anyone you don't trust. As this url can give a bad actor the ability to send any message they want to your discord channel.
Connecting to Hytale-Servers.pro
Now that you have your Discord webhook URL, you need to connect it to your Hytale server listing on Hytale-Servers.pro. Here's how:
- Go to your server listing on Hytale-Servers.pro.
- Click on the "Edit" button to modify your server details.
- Look for the "Discord Webhook URL" field.
- Paste your copied webhook URL into this field.
- Save your changes.
Your Discord Voting Webhook is now set up! You should start receiving notifications in your Discord channel whenever a vote occurs on your server listing.
Customizing the Discord Vote Webhook
