PvP

PvP, also known as Player Versus Players is a gamemode where players fight against eachother. Solo or in teams.

Role Play

Role Playing means you will act as your character in-game. Role Playing servers usually allow you to change player model, act as different characters and in different scenarios. Most servers have a set theme that you will need to honor.

Creative

This mode is dedicated to unrestricted building and creation, giving players unlimited resources, the ability to fly, and advanced, intuitive world-editing tools. It's designed to empower players and modders with extensive controls for quickly designing and sharing custom content and constructs.

Survival

This mode focuses on the classic sandbox experience where players must fight, loot, farm, and explore a procedurally generated world to thrive and build structures. It serves as a foundation for the full game, emphasizing survival and building mechanics within a vast, living world.

Adventure

Planned for a later update, this mode is designed as an RPG-style experience with an overarching narrative and quests in a procedurally generated world. It will blend the sandbox freedom with a structured story, dungeons, and progression as you follow a main campaign.

Sky Block

Skyblock is a survival-type gamemode made popular in Minecraft. The players survival on a tiny floating island with nothing else around. Are they able to gather as many resources and build the biggest Island they can imagine?

Minigames

Bored of the normal game modes? Ready to have some fun with other players? Play some mini games! There are mini games for everyone's playstyles.

Build Battle

Are you one of the best builders in your friend group? Want to see if your skills hold up against other people? Play Build Battle and see who can perform the best with a time limit and theme!

Sky Wars

Find as much loot and blocks as possible before it's too late. Battle against multiple other players scattered around the map on tiny flying islands. Last man standing wins!

Beginner Friendly

Beginner Friendly servers are there for those just starting out. These servers are especially friendly towards new players who are still getting the hang of things. Don't be afraid to join these servers if you don't know a lot about the game Hytale!

Mods

Mods are small packages that modify, add or remove content from Hytale. They are able to edit almost anything you see from the UI, Blocks and Sky to Biomes, NPCs and Mobs!
